Two self-adhesive chevrons are supplied with each sign that allow for a fast and easy field configuration. Apply chevrons only to the area on the sign face designated by dots located on either side of the word exit. Chevrons are to be used only in either a left, right or double configuration to indicate exit direction(s). Do not apply both chevrons in the same direction.

Tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. in accordance with the UL924 Standard for Power and Lighting. Complies with NFPA Life Safety Code 101 and OSHA sign requirements. Meets or exceeds IBC, ICBO, BOCA, and NFPA 5000 building codes.

This sign uses 7'' hi-performance photoluminescent lettering with a rigid aluminum back plate that works by absorbing the ambient light in the room and with the lights go out releases the stored light in the form of a bright luminous glow. These emergency exit signs can be used in both high and low level applications, require no power, are eco-friendly and virtually fail safe.

Important Information:

The sign must be charged for a minimum of 60 minutes to become fully operational.
The external illumination source must be reliable and supplied by a circuit not controlled by automatic timers or sensors, and whose controls are accessible only to authorized personnel.
The external illumination source is to be energized at all times during building occupancy.
Lighting levels on the sign face are to be reassessed after any changes in external lighting types or levels to determine that the sign is still being illuminated in accordance with its UL listing.
Cleaning of the sign face should be done with a non-abrasive cloth dampened with water. Do not use chemical solvents of any kind.
Periodic visibility inspections are to be performed regularly and in accordance with the applicable installation code (such as NFPA 101).
Install this exit sign indoors only, where not exposed to direct sunlight, liquid spray or temperatures outside ot the range +10 to +40° C (50 to 104° F).

PLEASE NOTE: UL924 REQUIRES AN EXTERNAL ILLUMINATION SOURCE. Minimum 5-foot candle external unfiltered fluorescent illumination must be present on the sign face at all times of building occupancy.
